Event: Annual General Meeting & Defying Gravity
Location: Online only
Date: 4 June 2026
Time: 5 PM Central European Time (CET) | 11 AM Eastern Standard Time (USA)

AASI’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is fast approaching! We are excited to announce that our special guest for this virtual event will be Andrew Hale. During his Defying Gravity session, we will explore how balancing the needs of dogs, service users, and colleagues can often feel like a daily challenge that truly defies gravity.
Andrew will share his unique insights on resilience, emphasizing the significance of our individual lived experiences and those of people around us. He will also offer strategies to enhance our emotional regulation and ensure safety in the workplace and beyond. There will be ample opportunities for questions and group discussions.
The Defying Gravity session will take place following the AGM. For more details, please refer to the attached AGM Agenda, and keep an eye out for additional information from Chris, AASI’s Membership & Administration Coordinator!
If you are a full member and are unable to make the meeting, you will need to complete, sign, and return a proxy card, which will be provided via email. We need a quorum of full members presented or represented to be able to vote.
